Yesterday, Dan Gray went to Richmond on behalf of the Virginia Family Law Coalition to monitor and address pending family law legislation in the Virginia General Assembly. Dan attended the House Courts Subcommittee meeting chaired by Delegate Habeeb, which voted on House Bill 289 (regarding transfer of circuit court matters to juvenile courts), proposed by Coalition member Pete Buchbauer, and patroned by Delegate Chris Collins of House District 29.
This has been an extremely busy session so far, and the Coalition, chaired by Cheshire I’Anson Eveleigh, is tracking and addressing numerous family law–related bills.
