Prenups aren’t just for people anymore! A lawyer in the UK has created an online program called Pet Nup, which allows people to create a prenuptial agreement for pet purchases. Pet Nup covers “ownership, responsibilities and rights in the event of a relationship breakdown, with the goal of keeping pet welfare at its heart.” While this seems like a great idea given a lot of people view their pets as family members, there is no guarantee whether these would be upheld in court.
