On December 9, 2015 the Virginia State bar held the Admission and Orientation Ceremony at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. This ceremony occurs twice each year and is held for all newly licensed attorneys in Virginia. These new attorneys are given the opportunity to appear before the Supreme Court of Virginia to be admitted to practice in the courts of Virginia. Prior to the formal admission, several speakers address the new lawyers. This year, Nathan Olson was one of those speakers. Nathan was speaking to more than 750 new attorneys, and their families, in his role as the President of the Young Lawyers Conference of the Virginia State Bar. The event was a resounding success and we are proud to report that he will be speaking again at the Spring 2016 Ceremony.
