On June 8, 2016, the Virginia State Bar held the spring Admission and Orientation Ceremony at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. This ceremony occurs twice each year and is held for all newly licensed attorneys in Virginia. These new attorneys are given the opportunity to appear before the Supreme Court of Virginia to be admitted to practice in the courts of Virginia. Prior to the formal admission, several speakers addressed the new lawyers. Nathan Olson was one of three speakers at the event. Nathan addressed more than 250 new attorneys, and their families, in his role as the President of the Young Lawyers Conference of the Virginia State Bar. He congratulated the new attorneys and challenged them to give back to the legal community during their careers. This is second time that Nathan has spoken at this event, having addressed more than 750 new attorneys in December 2015. Great work, Nathan.
