Last week, Nathan Olson attended the 78th Virginia State Bar Annual Meeting in Virginia Beach. This was Nathan’s last official meeting as President of the Young Lawyers Conference. On June 15-16, 2016 Nathan attended Bar Council meetings where he successfully advocated for amendments to the YLC’s Bylaws. At the YLC Awards Luncheon on June 17, Nathan gave his last presentation during his one-year presidential term. He recapped the YLC successes during the past year and thanked all active YLC members for their hard work. He concluded his remarks by thanking Immediate Past President, Maureen Danker, and introducing the next YLC President, Dean Lhospital.
Nathan has been an active member in the YLC for nearly 10 years, six of which were on the YLC Board of Governors. He also followed in the footsteps of Dan Gray, whom was YLC President when Nathan started his legal career. We are very proud of Nathan’s dedication to public service and his leadership during the past 12 months. Nathan’s dedication is just one of many examples of CGG employees giving back to the community and the legal profession.
Great work Nathan!
