On April 17, 2015, Nathan Olson attended the American Bar Association’s National Institute for New Partners seminar in Washington, D.C. This event attracted new partners from around the country to gain insight on the transition from associate to partner. The full-day seminar began with a networking session that gave the participants a chance to mingle with attorneys in various practice areas. The remainder of the seminar was made up of panel discussions on topics ranging from Transitioning from Mentee to Supervisor to Ethical Considerations in Business Development.
The highlight of the seminar was the luncheon that featured former U.S. Solicitor General, Ted Olson, as keynote speaker. Mr. Olson (no relation) discussed his career and his many arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court including the landmark case of Bush v. Gore. Mr. Olson ended the keynote speech by answering questions from the seminar participants
