On March 19-22, 2015, a trial advocacy team from George Mason University School of Law, accompanied by Kristen Kugel as coach, competed in the 2015 Student Trial Advocacy Competition sponsored by the American Association for Justice. Over 150 law schools participated in 14 regional competitions held across the country that weekend. Mason Law beat out fifteen other teams from law schools in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and the District to be named the Washington D.C. regional winner of the competition, defeating the University of Richmond in the finals. Kristen and the team will be traveling to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in April to compete for the National title.
