Joanne Randa and the members of PANV are once again participating in Project Elf. Project Elf was created in 2008 by the Metropolitan Washington USO. The USO office received calls from service members for assistance with providing holiday gifts for their children due to financial constraints. This program assists junior enlisted service members, E-1 to E-5, by pairing wish lists they submit for their children with individual donors and companies in the community who would like to help a service member for the holiday season. Last year, more than 1200 children were helped by the local community elves. PANV has been an Elf for the past several years. This year Joanne Randa and the organization will be purchasing items for sisters- Liliana and Amelia (ages 9 and 2) . Holiday gifts will be delivered on Monday morning, December 7, 2015. We hope all of you can be an Elf to someone this year.
