Congratulations to Heather Cooper, who has been invited to join the faculty of the Virginia State Bar Harry L. Carrico Professionalism Course. In December 1988, the Virginia State Bar implemented a rule requiring all newly-licensed Virginia lawyers to complete a course in the Virginia Rules of Professional Conduct and professionalism in general. The faculty for this course consists of judges and attorneys who are committed to instilling the fundamental values of professionalism in new lawyers. Heather is looking forward to beginning her three-year tenure in October 2014, at which time she will be serving with David Ginsberg (who is in his second year on the faculty). Heather and David follow in the footsteps of Dan Gray, who recently completed his three year tenure on the faculty.
