On February 18, 2015, Heather Cooper participated as a member of the faculty for the Harry L. Carrico Professionalism Course in Alexandria, Virginia. Every newly admitted attorney to the Virginia State Bar must take this course within 12 months of admission. The course is taught by judges and attorneys from around the state, and emphasizes that “professionalism” in the practice of law means much more than simply complying with the minimum standards established by the Rules of Professional Conduct of Virginia.
