A Note from David Ginsberg – Founder/Organizer of the Chipping in to End Domestic Violence Charity Golf Tournament

Everyone,

For over two decades, Cooper Ginsberg Gray has organized and hosted The Chipping in to End Domestic Violence Charity Golf Tournament to raise awareness about domestic violence issues and funds for Artemis House, which is operated by Shelter House.  Thanks to the many golfers, sponsors, donors, and supporters, the tournament has raised over $820,000 for Shelter House. We are eternally grateful for this support.

While Cooper Ginsberg Gray will continue to support Shelter House in 2024 through donations of time and money, the tournament will be taking a sabbatical in 2024.  Unfortunately, domestic violence and homelessness are not taking time off.  The generous support of the tournament’s community throughout the years has helped Shelter House change lives and pursue its vision of a community free of homelessness and domestic violence. We encourage you to continue supporting Shelter House and its mission to help the victims of domestic violence, sexual violence and human trafficking.

Please feel free to contact Shelter House (www.shelterhouse.org) if you are interested in volunteering or making a donation.  We sincerely thank you for all of your support and will miss seeing everyone on the course this year.  We look forward to seeing you again soon!

David L. Ginsberg

23rd ANNUAL CHIPPING IN TO END DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT

DATE: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM

LOCATION: Bull Run Golf Club

Amazing news! On October 27, 2023, Cooper Ginsberg Gray hosted and organized the 23rd Annual Chipping In to End Domestic Violence Golf Tournament at the beautiful Bull Run Golf Club.  Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of sponsors, golfers, donors, and community partners, this year’s tournament raised the highest amount ever – $93,000!

All of these funds will directly benefit Artemis House, Fairfax County’s only 24-hour emergency shelter, run by Shelter House, for victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking.  Throughout its history, the tournament has raised over $820,000! These funds have been used to assist hundreds of survivors on their path to safety, self-sufficiency, and independence. The proceeds from this year’s tournament will have a huge impact on survivors who are currently navigating their new journey to a secure life. The tournament’s success is the direct result of supporters like YOU and, for that, we are truly thankful!

Thank you all once again for Chipping In to End Domestic Violence.  Together, we are changing lives!
