Each year Cooper Ginsberg Gray participates with the Paralegal Section of the Fairfax Bar Association with the food drive. This year the food drive benefits Facets, a Fairfax County organization, which helps feed the homeless, and assist the needy in improving their lives with housing, training, and counseling. CGG likes to compete to see who can decorate the best collection box for the drive. Heather made a box with lots of love (hearts), Joanne made a box with most excellent pumpkins, Joanne and Adele made a box for the cats (Apollo), and Robert made two boxes that were for the dogs (Dunkin). In addition, Robie (Rob Worster’s son) created a crocodile box – asking everyone to “please feed the crocodile.” The best part of the competition is that we also fill the boxes with non-perishable food for delivery to Facets. All of us here hope that none of our neighbors in Fairfax County go hungry this Thanksgiving.
