On July 20, 2016, Dan Gray attended the Center for Nonprofit Advancement (CNA) Board Leadership Award Showcase at the offices of Kilpatrick, Townsend & Stockton, LLP in Washington, DC. Dan attended in his role as Chairman of the Board of Pathway Homes, a Virginia nonprofit that provides non time-limited housing and services for Virginians with serious mental illness. Dan and the Board were named runners-up for the CNA Board Leadership Award in the category of nonprofits with a budget exceeding $11 million annually. Dan and the Board went through a grueling multi-week vetting process that included panel interviews at the CNA offices in Washington, an on-site panel interview and presentation at Pathway Home’s offices in Fairfax, and a half-day Showcase where Dan and Pathway Homes CEO Dr. Sylisa Lambert-Woodard were asked questions by the CNA panel of interviewers. Dan is very proud of his work for Pathway Homes, and even prouder of the work performed by the Board throughout the CNA award process. Congratulations to the entire Pathway Homes Board!
