On April 21st, Anne Robinson attended the Foundation of the Alexandria Bar Association’s Beat the Odds Awards Program at the Alexandria Courthouse. The Beat the Odds program provides scholarships to Alexandria high school graduates who have overcome significant challenges in their lives. As a longtime resident of Alexandria and graduate of T.C. Williams High School, Anne serves as a mentor to scholarship recipients and joined the Beat the Odds Steering Committee this year. At this year’s event, guests were treated to two very special keynote speeches by Stephanie Littlehale, a third-year law student at Georgetown and George Mitchell Foundation scholarship recipient, and Paulette Brown, President of the American Bar Association. Both women inspired everyone in attendance with their stories of beating the odds. Our firm is a proud supporter of Alexandria’s Beat the Odds program, and we congratulate all of the scholarship recipients!
